The baby will be the couple's first child together, and a sibling for Bruce's three other children from his relationship with his ex, Demi Moore.

When they wed in 2009 guests included his former wife and their three daughters – 23-year-old Rumer, Scout, 20, and Tallulah, 17.

Demi's husband, Ashton Kutcher, was also there to wish them well.

During a revealing interview with W magazine, Emma admitted that she was initially apprehensive about becoming the latest member of the extended 'tribe'.

“I’d never dated a man who had children and I wanted to be really sensitive to that.”  she said.

But the close knit Hollywood clan welcomed her into the fold and Emma has said she revels in her role as “a stepmommy” now.

Bruce has also spoken of how his relationship with the elegant brunette has given him a renewed zest for life.

After meeting at the Los Angeles gym of their trainer, Gunnar Peterson, in 2005, the Die Hard star was smitten.

"I spent the last 10 years single and, for the most part, unhappy," he said. "Then, I started hanging around Emma, and on a day-to-day basis my life became much happier."

Bruce's sentiments are also echoed by his inner circle, who are left in no doubt that Emma has softened the edges of the screen hard man.

Fox Music president Robert Kraft, is full of praise for his friend's model wife.

“Emma is unbelievably calm and non-demanding.”

“She has made Bruce incredibly centred.”

They only went public with their romance a couple of months ago but George Clooney and Stacy Keibler are already well on their way to becoming the new king and queen of the red carpet.

After proudly showing off their love in Toronto, New York, Italy, London and Mexico, the hot new couple attended the Annual Hollywood Awards in Beverly Hills.

The former wrestler showed off her athletic figure in a stunning purple strapless dress, complete with transparent skirt and heels.

It was an extra special night for George as he picked up the award for best Hollywood actor for his role in The Descendants.

The movie tells the tale of a man who tries to reconnect with his daughters after his wife is involved in a boating accident.

The prestigious prize saw him follow in the footsteps of previous recipients including Russell Crowe, Ewan McGregor, Tom Hanks, Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio.

George and Stacy weren't the only big names attending the prestigious gala.

Anne Hathaway, Carey Mulligan, Glenn Close and Michelle Williams, who took home the award for best Hollywood actress for her role as Marilyn Monroe, also set the flashbulbs blazing.

Heidi Gloom: Ms Klum gets fitted for fright night!

By day, Heidi Klum is a blonde bombshell with dazzling powers of attraction.

By night, however, she is a different animal altogether – a hairy gorilla with killer fangs, to be precise.

The blonde underwent a radical transformation as she squeezed her model physique into some less glamorous garb in preparation for Halloween.

After flirting with the gorilla look, Heidi went from hair to bare, slipping into a ghoulish skeletal skin and bone bodysuit.

All will be revealed at her party, but if past outfits are any indication of which outfit Heidi will choose, the kooky gorilla might just ‘swing’ it.

'I am alive because of that man': Conrad Murray's patients praise him

After three weeks of prosecution evidence against the doctor charged in the death of Michael Jackson, a court has heard witnesses describe him as a thorough and caring physician.

Several patients testified that Dr Conrad Murray offered his services free to the poor.

Dr Murray's eyes filled with tears as one elderly patient  recalled him founding a clinic in a poor community in Texas in honour of his father.

Ruby Mosley said: "If this man was greedy, he never would have come to an area where 75 per cent of the people are poor, on welfare and social security and where he was making less than where he was in Vegas."

The 82-year-old witness told the court that the physician never turned away a patient even if they didn't have insurance or couldn't afford treatment.

Ms Mosley was the last of five character witnesses that Dr Murray's lawyers called during his trial for involuntary manslaughter in Los Angeles.

He has pleaded not guilty.

Las Vegas resident Andrew Guest, 48, told jurors: "I believe that Dr Murray is not getting a fair shake. I believe he needs support. I am alive today because of that man."

Another former patient, Gerry Causey, said the doctor treated him for a heart attack 11 years ago and remains his best friend.

"I know his love, his compassion, his feelings for his patients," Mr Causey said. "He's the best doctor I've ever been to."

He had driven to LA from his home in Utah – approximately 580 miles away – to speak up for Dr Murray.

After making his statement the witness went up to the physician, shook his hand and kissed his head (below).

Another character witness, Dennis Hix, said the doctor carried out a series of live-saving operations to his arteries, even though his insurance did not cover the cost.

"When I went and told him I didn't have the sort of insurance to pay for hardly anything, he did it for me for free.

San Diego resident Lunette Sampson also sung his praises – recalling how Dr Murray found out what was wrong with her after she was misdiagnosed by three doctors.

"I have never had a doctor who is more caring," she added.

All the witnesses stated that the physician was not motivated by money.

Prosecutors have argued that he was heavily in debt and initially sought $5 million (£3.1 million) to treat Michael as he prepared for a series of lucrative comeback concerts.

He agreed to become the king of pop's personal doctor for $150,000 (£93,775) a month but was never paid because the singer died before the contract was signed.

The trial will draw to a close with the final witnesses for the defence – a pair of medical experts meant to respond to claims he acted recklessly by administering the anaesthetic propofol as a sleep aid.

It is expected the jury will make their decision early next week.

Jeremy Clarkson's ex-wife penning book about 'affair'

nullDays after Jeremy Clarkson lifted a gagging order on his first wife – who claims they had an affair after he married again – comes the news she has written a book.

Alex Hall has enlisted the help of Max Clifford to help her find a publisher.

The PR boss says her story could even be turned in to a film.

"There's an awful lot of interest," he says. "The book is written and ready to go. I shall be having talks with publishers."

Jeremy married Alex, now 46, in 1989 but they split less than two years later. He married his current wife Frances, 50 (pictured below) in 1993.

The Top Gear presenter won an injunction against the first Mrs Clarkson – an entrepreneur who has appeared on Dragon's Den – last year to stop her publishing details about his private life.

These details included claims that the former couple had a seven or eight year affair after he remarried – claims which Jeremy denies.

At the time the presenter could be described in the press only as "a married TV star" and the identity of his first wife was kept a secret.

He explained his reasons for seeking an injunction as follows: ‘I dish the dirt out and I can take it. But why should my mother and children have to take it?"

"In 20 years I have taken any number of stories, most of which are not true, without a murmur of complaint. But some stories you have to draw the line and say no."

The 51-year-old had a change of heart though, and ultimately decided to have the court order lifted, effectively unmasking himself.

"I regretted doing it from the day I took out the injunction," he said after lifting it, saying the court bans "don't work".

"You take out an injunction against somebody or some organisation and immediately news of that injunction and the people involved and the story behind the injunction is in a legal-free world on Twitter and the internet. It's pointless."

The star also explained that his mother was "desperately ill" at the time he sought the ban.

Now he wants the allegations to be judged in public, he says.

"She is now free to tell her story and people can go 'I believe that, I absolutely believe that' or they can say 'What a load of rubbish' but people can decide not the courts."

If Jeremy had not dropped the ban, the case would probably have gone to court. This would have added expense to the original injunction, which is estimated to have cost him £250,000 to maintain.

For her part, Alex says she wants to tell her story for "cathartic" reasons.

"All I want is for the truth to come out about my life," she said.

"I am a decently educated, middle-class mother. I am not a prostitute. I am not a kiss’n’tell-monger. I simply want to write a book."

Alex met Jeremy when she was 17 and he was 20, and they wed seven years later.

They split after two years – Alex says she left Jeremy for one of his friends. She then went on to marry Stephen Hall, with whom she had two children, but separated from him in 2001.

After finding fame Jeremy fell in love with his manager Frances – known to friends as Francie. The couple married in 1993 and have three children.

Joely Richardson: Working with mum Vanessa was 'incredibly special'

nullJoely Richardson has revealed how much it has meant to her to be able to share the role of Queen Elizabeth I with her mother Vanessa Redgrave.

The star was talking at the premiere of new film Anonymous in London's Leicester Square.

Joely was stunning in a figure-hugging black lace Marchesa gown and smiled for the cameras whilst signing autographs.

In the film, Vanessa plays Queen Elizabeth as an older woman, while her daughter plays the royal as a young princess.

"It was incredibly special," says Joely of their collaboration.

"As a child growing up and watching her play Mary Queen of Scots and Glenda Jackson play Elizabeth, I never would have known that one day the two of us would be playing Elizabeth."

Anonymous, directed by Independence Day's Roland Emmerich, presents the idea that William Shakespeare was not the author of legendary plays including Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet.

It instead suggests they were written by Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford, played by Rhys Ifans.

Despite the controversial topic of the film, all the cast members and director Roland have insisted it is, in fact, a "celebration" of Shakespeare's work.

"It's not an attack on Shakespeare, it's quite the opposite," says Rhys.

"It's a celebration of his work, and anyone who sees this film, if it encourages young people, or anyone, to revisit these plays, then it's very important."

Justin's got his Sexy Back: He and Jessica are on again!

nullTheir spokesperson confirmed they had 'mutually parted ways' back in March.

But it seems that wasn’t the end of the road for Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel.

In August he visited the striking actress on set in Toronto, where they were spotted cycling, sparking rumours of a reconciliation.

But nothing was official until Thursday, when the pair had a night out with superstar friends Elton John and David Furnish.

Their blissful smiles combined with their cosy body language were sure signs that the romance is well and truly back on.

The couple seem to have worked through their problems.

At the time of their break up, friends and relatives said Justin wanted to concentrate on his career rather than settle down.

And the cracks began to show when Jessica threw a surprise 30th birthday party for Justin at the start of the year.

According to the Daily Mail, The Social Network actor appeared to be embarrassed and uncomfortable by an emotional speech his girlfriend made to toast his milestone year.

But by the summer he seemed to have had a change of heart. The charismatic performer gave a heartfelt interview to Vanity Fair in July, in which he opened up about just how much Jessica meant to him.

Refusing to go into details of the split, he said: "I have to protect things that are dear to me – for instance, her."

"She is the single-handedly most significant person in my life. In my 30 years, she is the most special person, OK? So I protect it ."

Let's hope it works out for the photogenic duo this time round.
